What are Text Effects?

Text effects are special presets you can apply to any text or shape in Photoshop. It only takes a click to transform your text from plain to awesome! These text effects are fully editable and can be customized with different colors, textures, lighting, shadows, and more.

About me

Hi, I'm John Forsythe, a designer and photographer from Ottawa, Canada.

I've been working with graphic design software since the mid-90s, and Photoshop specifically since 2001. After a brief career in tech support, I decided I wanted to do something more creative with my life. So, in 2010, I decided to start selling text effects. Since then, more than 4,700 people have purchased my effects! It's been a wonderful way to share my ideas with the world.

This year, I'm releasing a brand new set of 3100+ text effects called The Premium Collection. This collection is the result of over 400 hours of design work, and includes a stunning variety of styles, ranging from vintage comic book effects to super-realistic animals furs. I truly believe this is the biggest and best collection of original text effects ever assembled, and I hope you'll have as much fun using it as I did creating it.
